12 Crescent Beach is one of my favourite places to shoot. The wind was blowing, the daffodils and tulips were in full bloom, the air was crisper than crisp. What a day for a Crescent Beach wedding! Kelly and Dave were married yesterday in front of a friend’s house on Crescent Beach. Kelly’s two sons, Fox and Bowen, walked her up the gravel path and gave her away. Dave presented the boys with pocket watches as the four of them joined as a family.

When it came time for formals, Kelly’s Okanagan uncle was my right-hand man. He stayed (mostly 
) out of trouble and when the coast was clear he’d jump in for ‘just one more’ photo.

Once the wedding party headed off to their beach themed reception and I came home to thaw out, the rain came down in buckets. It’s supposed to be good luck when it rains on your wedding day… I was just thankful it waited until everyone went indoors!
