Really, I do! In fact, every time I call it a ‘job’ I shake my head. Sure, a photography business comes with the dull stuff like paperwork and making sure my taxes are paid on time, but mostly it’s good stuff. For instance, tonight I met with a bride and groom who booked me for their July wedding. We chatted and laughed and they flipped through my wedding albums as we talked about their big day. When they left, the bride gave me a big, warm hug and told me how excited she was about hiring me for her wedding this summer. How’s that for a job perk? I can’t wait to be a part of their day!

As photographers, we often get teased about how much we ‘loooooove’ every one of our clients and how ‘passionate’ we are about our work. Tease away, my friends, tease away.
